The Spirit Lamp

The Spirit Lamp is Winchester College's biannual Arts and Literature magazine. The first issue was printed in 2006 and for seven years bore the same design.

I joined The Spirit Lamp as an art editor in 2013 and with only a week before printing was tasked with formatting the Issue 14. I eventually decided to overhaul the design of the magazine introducing a much more modern look.

Following the release of Issue 14, I was appointed the Art Director of the magazine. With the aim of rebranding the magazine, I designed a new logo, which later featured on the cover of Issue 15.
